BNSF Bridge 7.6 Anacortes Swing Span Fender System Replacement

Advanced American Construction (AAC) was contracted by BNSF Railway to perform the rehabilitation to the fender system on Bridge 7.6 over the Swinomish Channel. AAC worked together with BNSF, USCG and local stakeholders to value engineer, permit, and rehabilitate the bridges fender system during peak season for local fisheries and mariner navigation. AAC coordinated closely with BNSF to maintain rail traffic without any delays or outages for the duration of the project.
All marine work was completed as planned, safely and without any environmental issues.
