Project Details

Advanced American Construction worked with the Bureau of Reclamation to perform repairs on the Buffalo Bill Dam Power House stilling basin apron, and install armoring to prevent future erosion. AAC installed and anchored SS plating and barrier fence sections along the length of the power house. The project involved extensive AAC diving operations in extreme weather conditions. The Buffalo Bill Powerhouse project also required rip rap repair of a diversion dike upstream of the powerhouse.  Granite boulders weighing up to 4,000 lbs. each were hauled from on offsite storage facility, transferred over the powerhouse, and set into place.  AAC completed the work on schedule.
