DMI Dive Salvage Support

Advanced American Construction (AAC) provided dive support and marine expertise for the salvage of derelict vessels in the Multnomah Channel, contracted through DMI and directed by Oregon Metro. The project involved locating abandoned boats, rigging them, and assisting with their removal onto a materials barge for eventual disposal. 

Work was complicated by decayed rigging, compromised vessel structures, and low-visibility underwater conditions. Despite these hazards, AAC successfully extracted all targeted vessels, including some partially crushed during removal, without incident.
