Advanced American Construction worked with the Army Corps of Engineers to improve the function and operating ability of the existing portable fish collector at the Cougar Reservoir in Rainbow, Oregon. AAC raised the fish collecting structure to install new permanent stanchions, furnished and installed a two-ton jib crane, relocated offshore anchors, installed inshore anchors, and furnished new electrical disconnects and other improvements. The project was completed on schedule and on budget despite many onsite challenges.
Project Highlights
- Raised the fish collecting structure approximately 18″ and installed new permanent stanchions
- Re-terminated electrical hydraulic connections to adjust for the modification
- Furnished & installed 2 ton jib crane
- Relocated offshore clump weight anchors & rock drill, and installed inshore anchors to existing rock face
- Furnished new electrical quick disconnects and other improvement
