We're Hiring: Staff Accountant
Advanced American Construction has a long history of unprecedented, national award-winning success in heavy civil/marine construction. To build on our past and continue to grow, AAC is searching for an experienced, hands-on Staff Accountant to help lead and execute the daily operations of our finance and accounting team. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and commitment to producing quality work products. The right candidate would also be capable of handling sensitive financial information in a confidential and ethical manner.
Specific position responsibilities:
Accounts payable.
Accounts receivable.
Payroll and tax filing.
Cash management.
General ledger reconciliations.
Contract administration for vendors and subcontractors.
Other special projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
Viewpoint software experience strongly preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
