What our Schweiger Memorial Scholarship Recipients are Saying

April 13, 2020

What our outstanding 2020 Schweiger Memorial Scholarship recipients are saying:

"Dear Schweiger Memorial Scholarship Fund,

My name is Elsa A. Moreno Rangel, and I am honored to be one of this year’s recipients of the 2020 Schweiger Memorial Scholarship. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for believing in my career goals and education in Construction Engineering Management. Thanks to the support and generosity of wonderful people like you, several students are able to achieve their dreams of continuing higher education. All this support is definitely playing a crucial role in the advancement of the construction industry since more and more students are being able to successfully graduate and achieve their goals of becoming construction leaders.

This scholarship has quickly become so meaningful to me. When I almost thought that I would no longer be able to cover my next term’s college tuition, this scholarship magically came into my life, providing me with the hope and motivation to finish my first year with all the attitude and strength despite the ongoing challenges. This scholarship has changed my life, and I am positive that it has similarly changed the life of several other students.

I am really fascinated with all the wonderful efforts that families and friends of Advanced American Construction have made to continue Forrest’s and Konrad’s legacy. My heart is full of gratitude and is really honored to keep a spot for the Advanced American Construction family. I am really inspired by the kindness that this scholarship radiates, and I am really excited to follow this same passion of helping others in the same way that the Schweiger Memorial Scholarship Fund is helping me to achieve my dream of becoming a Construction Manager.
