    David Pierce is a civil engineer with more than 30 years of experience specializing in structural engineering for waterfront and transportation facilities. David joined AAC in 2013 after working for PND, an engineering consultant firm. His project assignments have given him a broad range of experience in design, construction, project management, and inspection for a variety of structural and site civil projects, including docks, ferry terminals, berthing structures, marinas, buildings, recreation facilities, roads, and bridges. In addition to David’s engineering background, his academic education included a strong emphasis in computer simulation, enhancing his abilities in both design and management. He has also been a four-time winner of the James F. Lincoln Arc Welding Foundation award for excellence in steel design.
